Prevention is better than cure

With a job background in a government organisation where health has always been a top priority, being overweight was almost a crime.

And, it was so for Kalpesh!

He had a rigorous daily regime of 1 to 2 hours of workout, so exercise was never a challenge.

But, working long hours and in odd shifts led him to have a prominent pot belly. Having a family history of diabetes, it was a wake up call for him to do something about it immediately.

It's around that time he got introduced to Wellness Quotient. Though, not certain at first, he decided to give it a try.

"Soon, things started to change for the better", says Kalpesh.

Along with exercise, he started focussing on other 5 pillars of wellness, especially eating right and on-time.

Consistence was the key. He disciplined himself and started following suggested lifestyle religiously under the guidance of his coach.

At first, he started feeling small changes. Soon, people around him started noticing and complimenting him.

In 3 months time, he could move from 78 kilos to 68 kilos!

The best part is that even though Kalpesh still has the same job and associated situations, the new habits he formed during his weightloss journey helps him to sustain a healthy lifestyle.

He smiles and says, "Fear of diabetes is no longer a concern now!"
